Julian lived as an anchoress in Norwich, and after recovering from a serious illness she described the visions that had come to her during her suffering. She conceived of a loving and compassionate God, merciful and forgiving, and believed in our ability to reach self-knowledge through sin. She wrote of God as our mother, and embraced strikingly independent theological opinions. This new translation conveys the poise and serenity of Julian's prose style to the modern reader. It includes both the short and long texts, written twenty years apart, through which Julian developed her ideas. In his introduction Barry Windeatt considers Julian's astonishingly positive vision of humanity and its potential for spiritual transformation. Great for a costume, but not for every day

I'm not sure what I was really expecting, but these pants made me feel like I was in the song zoot suit riot and/or Dick Tracy was trying to find me. They honestly just feel very costume-ish as opposed to being something dressy. I couldn't see myself wearing these to a job interview, which is kind of my standard for what qualifies as "dress clothes." However, they do fit quite well in the waist the and down the leg. I have a wide variety of clothing options, but I even find it difficult to pair anything with these pants.

Lightweight Fabric with a Bit of Stretch

I'm a fan of any fabric that has a small percentage of Spandex in the blend -- like these pants. (Along with mostly polyester and viscose.) It's not noticeably stretchy but the comfort is there. The fabric is very light and smooth -- and the stripes make a nice design statement. (They're giving me "gangster" vibes. Ha!)
I have a 32" waist and the Medium fits me perfectly (with a little room to spare). I do have to hem the bottoms since I'm on the short side, but they taper nicely down the leg. There's an "adjustable waist" mentioned in the headline description, but I don't see anything resembling an adjustable waist on the pants. Just a hook and button closure. (Maybe I'm missing something?) I'm happy to add these to my wardrobe.

This wallet design is fantastic. Compact, front or back pocket use. Has a ton of storage even though it doesn't look it. Last one lasted 7 years of abuse and use. I ordered 2 in case these never get made again. Grab one, best wallet and real durable leather, not fake leather.
