Full sun is essential for the flowering apricot, as even small amounts of shade will reduce its flower bud yield.

They mature into small ornamental fruit, slightly larger than 1 inch in diameter, with fuzzy skin that ranges green to yellow. The tree features a beautifully grafted trunk.
