This TAG Standard Duty Towbar and Direct Fit Wiring Kit (T2P620-K201) is engineered specifically for Volkswagen Golf 7th generation hatchback models (5G/BQ/MK7) built between August 2013 and January 2021. Designed and manufactured in Australia, this towbar is rated for up to 1600kg maximum tow capacity and 160kg ball weight.
The kit features the TAG Standard Duty Towbar (T2P620) with factory mounting points for ease of fitment and a durable Enamel Immersion Dipped coating. It utilizes a Flat Fixed 2-Bolt Tow Ball Mount for reliable performance and is backed by a TAG Limited Lifetime Warranty. The product includes a tow ball.
The included Direct Fit CAN Bus Wiring Harness (UNTC003) is a plug-and-play solution that ensures seamless integration with the vehicle's electrical system, offering automatic reverse sensor cut-off functionality and providing a 7 Pin Flat Socket for trailer connection. Note that installation requires both bumper removal and a bumper cutout, resulting in a concealed appearance.
